Leur musique composite, mélangeant des influences riches et variées (soft rock, hip-hop, musiques classiques, électroniques…) est interprétée de façon rock. Elle est caractérisée par des rythmiques très compressées (technique visant à en diminuer la dynamique) et un style léger mais sophistiqué. |

It was written by Winehouse and produced by Mark Ronson. The lyrics are autobiographical, and talk about Winehouse’s refusal to enter a rehabilitation clinic. |

“It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over” is a song recorded, written, and produced by American musician Lenny Kravitz for his second studio album, Mama Said (1991). Released as the album’s secondsingle in June 1991, the song is a mid-tempo ballad, musically inspired by Motown, Philly soul, and Earth, Wind & Fire. The horn line at the end is actually performed by the Phenix Hornsfrom Earth, Wind & Fire. “That song just came out one day, and I knew it had a classic vibe. And I still love that song very much today”, Kravitz said in an interview for VivaMusic.com in 2000. The line is based on a Yogiism, or quotation from Yogi Berra: “It ain’t over ’til it’s over.” |

Puddle of Mudd est un groupe de rock américain formé en 1993 à Kansas City, dans le Missouri. Largement influencé par la vague grunge, le groupe devient fortement connu dans son État d’origine et gagne plusieurs compétitions qui les aident à réaliser leurs deux premiers albums Stuck et Abrasive. Lorsque des inimitiés sur le futur du groupe s’ajoutent à leurs faible succès sur le marché américain, le groupe se sépare en 1999. |

Angus and Julia Stone est un duo (frère et soeur) originaire de Sydney en Australie. Leur premier EP Chocolates and Cigarettes est sorti en août 2006. Le second, Heart Full of Wine, est sorti en février 2007. Leur premier album A Book Like This est sorti le 8 septembre 2007 sous le label EMI Music en Australie et en mars 2008 en Europe sous le label Flock Music. Il est ensuite sorti aux États-Unis le 3 mars 2009 sous le label Nettwerk. Ils ont sorti un nouvel album en 2010 intitulé Down the Way. |

“Creep” is a song by the English alternative rock band Radiohead. Radiohead released “Creep” as their debut single in 1992, and it later appeared on their first album, Pablo Honey (1993). During its initial release, “Creep” was not a chart success. However, upon re-release in 1993, it became a worldwide hit. Attendees of Radiohead’s early gigs often exhibited little interest in the band’s other songs, causing the band to react against “Creep” and play it less often during the mid-to-late 1990s. In 1998, halfway through their OK Computer tour, the band dropped the song from set lists altogether. “Creep” was not played live again until 2001, but it has since reappeared several times on the band’s live sets. |

En 2006, à l’occasion de la sortie de son best of, Moby et Mylène Farmer enregistrent en duo une reprise version new wave de Slipping Away. Le titre donne lieu, sur le même album, à une version espagnole titrée Escapar, interprétée en duo avec l’artiste espagnole Amaral. |
